LEARN MORE: Full Out Mid-Rise Cheer Shorts 2.5" | Hit Zero
Why the Full Out Mid-Rise Short?
The Full Out solves the most common problem with cheer practice shorts: they ride up. Whether you drill tumbling passes, hit stunts, or spend time inverted, the mid-rise waistband and 2.5" inseam stay exactly where they should. No constant adjusting. No rolling waistbands. No uncomfortable shifting.
What Makes These Shorts Different?
The 3" rise sits just below your belly button. This gives you more coverage and security than low-rise styles that sit at the hip bone. This is ideal for athletes who prefer more torso coverage during practice, need shorts that will not roll down during conditioning, want a modest option that works under competition uniforms, or spend significant time inverted as flyers or tumblers.
We chose a 2.5" inseam specifically for all-star cheer training. It is short enough for full range of motion during jumps, kicks, and stunts. But it is long enough to prevent riding up during tumbling and inversions. Traditional athletic shorts with 5-7" inseams restrict movement and bunch during stunts. Shorter options with 1-2" inseams can ride up uncomfortably. The 2.5" length is the perfect zone for competitive cheer.
The breathable mesh liner gives you modest coverage and eliminates the need for extra undergarments like spankies or boy shorts. This means one less thing to pack for practice, no visible lines under shorts, reduced laundry and gear costs, and comfortable coverage during all movements.
Canadian Quality Guarantee:
Designed and tested by competitive cheerleaders in Canada. If the Full Out shorts do not perform as promised—whether that is staying put during inversions, lasting through 50+ washes, or maintaining compression—we will make it right.
